Chowchilla Barn Burner is officially under way. Joe Diaz (pictured above) began preparation of the oval track by wetting the track with more than 20,000 gallons of water today. As Joe began tilling the track he pulled up to us briefly and said "The track look's wet now, but in about one hour the track will be perfect".
Open Traction Practice is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. this evening at the Chowchilla Fairgrounds under the Madera County Ag Boosters/Associated Feed Pavilion. Today's practice is free to any rider thanks to the very generous support of Rod Lake Racing and Cycle Pros. Don't hesitate to come out and join us.
